Pig's been a complete love, these few days. Since after the paint incident and how Mr Seet talked about her over assembly on Wednesday, the whole school's been taking notice of her - and she's been making herself even more conspicuous. Lying down in the middle of walkways for the whole world to see and go "ooh" over, and pat and cuddle and scratch under her chin, she really is the school's little queen.

The teachers were pretty impressed that it was the choir members that cut off her painted fur, apparently, so they gave us cat food to feed her with :D So now we're putting food and water out for her. Whenever we want her to eat, most of the time we just have to shake the bowl a little so that the food hits the side of the bowl, and she comes running <3

I'm just annoyed about a couple of things, the first being that the teachers are apparently going to -collar- her. I mean, what the bloody hell?! She's a downright stray, no matter how domesticated, but she doesn't belong to anyone and she does what she likes. No one has any right to put a collar on her unless you're effectively claiming her for your own. Do you give her a scratching post and litter box? Do you put out the food and water? Do you give her a bed to sleep in? If no, then you've got no right to claim her and no right to collar her.

Second thing I'm annoyed about is that the teachers want to call her Patches. I mean, HELLO, the choir people were the first to take care of her, I think we've got the right to have the honor of naming her, and we've chosen CRCat/Pig. (Because she sleeps so much and eats so much at one go, she's a right pig, Pig is.) Anyway, Patches sounds like it's right out of an Enid Blyton book, and the only reason she's apparently 'patches' to the teachers is because the fur that the choir people cut off exposes patches of skin -_-" What're you gonna call her when the fur grows back? No-Patches? She's white-furred cat, anyway, she doesn't even have coloured patches of fur on her body, just orange stripes on her legs and belly.

Pig'll always be Pig to me. And I'm gonna protest if they put that collar on her. She's a free cat.
