It was, in a word, beautiful. It was better than Doomsday - oh, how I love all the end-of-series episodes, each and every one of the four. Made me cry, the

way that Donna had to have her memories erased at the end. She really was brilliant, as a human whole and as the Doctor-Donna. Tragic, how after everything she'd done and all that she'd helped with, she had to be stuck back on Earth. But it was for the best, after all. Human-Timelord, burning up. Still, heartbreaking, that's the only word for it.
Also loved how Dalek Caan turned out really good in the end, having seen through time and space and helping the Doctor and Donna, bringing them and linking them back together time and time again. Rose and the (ageing human) Doctor finally got together, in their parallel universe, which was just plain sweet. And back at Bad Wolf Bay, too, oh the nostalgia. Davros was absolutely menacing, but brilliant like that.
If I wanted to go on and on about what I loved about this episode, I'd regurgitate the entire 45 minutes.
Human Doctor: I grew out of you. Still, could be worse.
Donna: Oy, watch it space man!
Human Doctor: Oy, watch it earth girl!
Dalek Caan: I saw the Daleks, what we have done throughout time and space. I saw the truth of us, creator, and I decreed: no more.
Davros: And the prophecy unfolds.
Dalek Caan: And the Doctor's soul is revealed! See him, see the heart of him!
Davros: The man who abhors violence, never carrying a gun. But this is the truth, Doctor. You take ordinary people and you fashion them into weapons. All your Children of Time transformed into murderers. I meant the Daleks, Doctor. You made this.
Davros: How many more? Just think, how many have died in your name?
[flashback]
Davros:The Doctor. The man who keeps running. Never looking back because he dare not, out of shame. This is my final victory, Doctor. I have shown you: yourself.
Davros: Your strategies have failed, your weapons are useless, and, oh. The end of the universe has come.
