I have never felt more proud of a place other than Singapore in my life. Honestly, stepping into the Eisteddfod was like a dream come true for me - and even though I'm not Welsh, I love every inch of that land to bacon bits, Wales is awesome like that <3

Anyway, British weather, being British weather, was annoying as usual. Completely stupid, it was raining for like, two seconds and then drying up. The ground was completely muddy, bleargh, everyone was so damn worried about our full-length costumes - plus the first day, we bloody wore SLIPPERS. Smart of us, I think, our feet were soaked in mud after that. Disgusting.

I have to say, though, our lovely Singaporean entourage was more than suited to the rain - the moment it started to rain, all the umbrellas came up faster than you could say "Ella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh" xD Completely amusing. That, and we were all in our Asian costumes, so it was a real riot of colour :D

We managed to shop a bit on the first day - I spent about £19 in half an hour of shopping LOL. Whistles and name histories and Welsh flag pillows, it was completely awesome, really. Pity for me though, that was the only spot of shopping I managed to do at the Eisteddfod, I didn't get any other chances to go out to the shops :/

Oh, and here's Sherman, looking like a strange detective/spyguy with his reflective sunglasses lol.

We performed for the night opening concert. Damn I really hate the Janger costume, it's such a hassle, what with all the stupid safety pins and shite. Dum Belle was awesome, as usual, but also kinda freaky because of the stomping bit, which was up on the choral risers; when we started stamping, the whole riser'd move. So sometimes I'd just jump for no reason, rofl.

Back at Premier Inn, everyone had instant noodles for dinner. Mr Kwei was right - they really are a lifesaver in food-expensive Britain o_O Never mind that we were supposed to have had dinner at the Eisteddfod, the food there was kinda gross.

Day 2 of the Eisteddfod: Youth Choir competition!

Even though they sounded kinda dispersed in the tent and Nono's voice was uber clear over the microphone, VJC WON ;D 90+ each for Yoru and De Circuito Aeterno, whoo!

Day 3 wasn't as awesome, though. Folklore category, for which we came in fourth, and Mixed Open, 3rd. It was just plain pathetic, really, I can't believe we didn't manage to even get a third for Folklore. Depressed to hell after that, and Mr Kwei's lecture didn't make it any better. Oh well, what's done is done - we're gonna thrash them all for whatever competition we enter in though, next year ;D Jiasheng says it might be Olomouc (AGAIN! I love Olomouc!) and some other competition around Austria.

So that was pretty much the Eisteddfod. There isn't a lot cos it was mainly rushing about everywhere and watching other competitions, but the Eisteddfod was beautiful, all the same.

Lol, I'll never forget when that random TV person pulled me out of the line and shoved my face in front of a camera for a Llangollen.tv interview xD Plain freaky.
